Staffing Coordinator-Full time
About The Position
MercyOne is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to operate the automated staffing and scheduling system and maintain database and system integrity. The coordinator arranges staffing and determines resource allocation for designated patient care areas in accordance with the standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. The role involves communicating with a variety of people inside and outside the organization. Exchanges may include detailed, lengthy, and moderately sensitive information. The coordinator uses interpersonal skills to handle moderately complicated problems and stressful encounters. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with a holiday rotation. This is an evening-shift, full-time position based in the Davenport/Quad Cities area.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- Word-processing ability at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
- Medical terminology knowledge.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate with a variety of people and handle moderately complicated problems or stressful encounters.
