About The Position

The Staffing Coordinator has responsibility in areas that support daily operations: receive and accurately record staffing and schedule changes, participate in daily staffing in collaboration with the Nursing Supervisor and Unit Nursing leaders, the CHOC scheduling system and is a key resource for all users, gathers and processes time and attendance documents, compiles data and creates reports.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Well organized and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to assimilate to CHOC scheduling system.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Previous experience with administrative Staffing process or Administrative support services.
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-3 years of experience with administrative staffing processes.
  • Prior staffing coordination in a hospital setting.
  • Bachelor's degree.
