The Staffing Coordinator will be responsible for the per diem placement of Registered Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, other needed staff, and Allied Health Staffing positions. This role involves scheduling temporary staff to meet census demand, gathering information concerning employee issues, usage, retention, and termination. The coordinator will respond to service requests, inquiries, and complaints over the phone or in person, print and update the daily staffing schedule, and communicate with management and Department Directors to obtain staffing orders. Additional duties include answering a multi-phone line system, providing oversight with on-call staffing as requested, making assessments and decisions on prioritizing staff for available client orders, and organizing the communication and distribution of all orders and travel requests. The role also requires communicating issues or client process changes to senior management staff.
