About The Position
MercyOne is seeking to hire a Staffing Coordinator. As a Staffing Coordinator at MercyOne, you will operate the automated staffing and scheduling system, maintain database and system integrity. You will coordinate staffing and determine resource allocation for designated patient care areas based on the standards and philosophies of Genesis Medical Center. This role involves interaction with a variety of people inside or outside the organization, requiring moderate interpersonal skills and the ability to handle detailed and lengthy dialogues, exchanges of information, and moderately complicated problem situations or stressful encounters.
Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- Word processing with a minimum of 40 wpm
- Medical terminology
- Ability to interact with a variety of people inside or outside the organization
- Ability to engage in detailed & lengthy dialogues & exchanges of information
- Moderate interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with moderately complicated problem situations or stressful encounters
