ACMA - Staffing Coordinator/Weekend Supervisor

Iris Senior LivingOklahoma City, OK
Onsite

About The Position

Iris Memory Care of Nichols Hills is a small, specialized assisted living community focused exclusively on the care of seniors living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. With just 57 residents under one roof, our community is small by design — giving our team the ability to provide genuinely personalized care. Our size means you matter here: your relationships with residents and their families are real, and your leadership makes a direct difference every day. We are looking for an experienced, motivated Certified Medication Aide with Advanced Respiratory (ACMA) to fill this salaried dual role as Weekend Supervisor and Staffing Coordinator. You will report directly to our Wellness Director, the clinical leader of our community. This is the right role if you're an ACMA who wants more – someone ready to step into management, own a schedule, mentor new team members, and make a measurable impact on the quality of care our residents receive.

Requirements

  • Active Certified Medication Aide with Advanced Respiratory (ACMA) certification – must be listed on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience working with older adults
  • Experience in staffing coordination or scheduling
  • High school diploma or GED (additional education preferred)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license in good standing, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance meeting company minimums
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 35 lbs regularly; routine pushing, pulling, bending, walking, reaching, and stooping

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced with dementia care and passionate about memory care
  • A natural leader who stays calm under pressure and earns team respect
  • Highly organized – able to manage a complex schedule and follow through with minimal supervision
  • A strong communicator with residents, families, staff, and management
  • A team player with a positive attitude who lifts others up
  • Eager to mentor and train new caregivers
  • Committed to IRIS values and principles in every aspect of care delivery

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Manager on Duty every weekend, providing leadership and oversight across all three buildings
  • Give and receive shift reports; ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care
  • Review and carry out task assignments with the Wellness Director/Designated Supervisor
  • Maintain familiarity with resident records and staff communication logs
  • Provide hands-on care support including ADLs, dining services, life enrichment, laundry, housekeeping, and medication administration as needed
  • Encourage resident self-care, independence, and dignity
  • Build and manage caregiver schedules to ensure full staffing coverage that meets resident needs
  • Partner with Human Resources on smooth onboarding and orientation of new caregiver team members
  • Assist in planning, organizing, and delivering orientation programs for all new hires
  • Review staff schedules and service delivery with the Executive Director and Wellness Director
  • Participate in staff development programs and expand your own skill set

Benefits

  • $52,000 annual salary ($25/hour equivalent)
  • Performance bonus program tied to staffing goals
  • Full-time, salaried position with consistent schedule
  • Opportunity to grow into a management career in senior living
