This role is responsible for maintaining safe and effective staffing levels for all inpatient nursing, creating and updating daily staffing sheets in ANSOS, covering daily staffing needs, monitoring employee call-ins, and ensuring staffing to matrix. The position also involves making phone calls to employees for staffing needs, overseeing the daily activities of the staffing office, providing daily assignments to the staffing secretary, entering exception log edits into ANSOS for payroll, and assigning contingent/temp staff and outside personnel to units as needed. Additionally, the Staffing Coordinator attends meetings, compiles data for reports, and assists Nurse Leaders and the Office Supervisor.
