About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Staff Transportation Maintenance Engineer with 3-5+ years of experience to join their Atlanta, GA team. This role will be an embedded employee with the client, assisting in the development and design of infrastructure projects for highway/interstate resurfacing and striping. Responsibilities may also include technical design of minor projects, acting as a production lead or task leader, and supporting Project Managers and lead engineers on multi-disciplined projects. This position is part of the Intelligent Mobility Services (IMS) Team within the Global Mobility Business Area, which focuses on designing sustainable and connected mobility solutions for thriving cities and communities.

Requirements

3+ years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineer or similar
Engineering experience with infrastructure design and construction engineering, which may include cost estimates, technical reports, construction/maintenance plans and project displays.
Proficiency with CAD particularly AutoCAD, Microstation, InRoads and CAiCE
Familiarity with GDOT design standards and policies.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Nice To Haves

EIT with the ability to obtain PE within two-three years from date of hire is preferred
Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Georgia PE
Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing project scopes and budgets.
Interface with and maintain client needs for the Project Manager.
Develop project resurfacing and striping plans.
Maintain project schedules.
Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis and Client practices, including quality and safety standards.
Communicate effectively in meetings, assist with client presentations, and prepare written reports and meeting minutes.
Work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously.
Tackle new projects, challenges, and concepts with initiative.
