About The Position

QSAC is seeking a Staff Trainer to develop and implement music and art enrichment activities for individuals with autism at their Day Habilitation Centers. This role involves traveling to multiple centers, providing direct instruction, and training staff to ensure ongoing enrichment. The position requires maintaining high standards of confidentiality, attendance, and flexibility, while working cooperatively with management and employees. A daily schedule must be developed and maintained, including sites, individuals/classrooms, and other activities.

Requirements

• Clearance through state mandated Background/Fingerprint Check(s).
• Ability to run and lift 20 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in music education preferred, but not required.
• Experience working with people with autism preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completed required QSAC training.
• Develop music and art enrichment activities at QSAC Day Habilitation Centers.
• Travel to all 11 Day Habilitation Centers.
• Provide music programs to individuals and art instruction.
• Train QSAC school staff to provide ongoing music & art enrichment activities to the individuals at the program.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality, attendance, and flexibility, while working cooperatively with program management and other employees.
• Maintain records and documentation.
• Develop and maintain a daily schedule, which includes sites, individuals/classrooms and other activities/duties.
