About The Position

QSAC is seeking a Staff Trainer to develop and implement music and art enrichment activities for individuals with autism at their Day Habilitation Centers. This role involves traveling to multiple sites, providing direct instruction, training staff, and maintaining program standards. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Requirements

• Certification in music education preferred, but not required.
• Clearance through state mandated Background/Fingerprint Check(s).
• Experience working with people with autism preferred.
• Ability to run and lift 20 lbs.
• Qualifications are subject to change in accordance with government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Completed required QSAC training.
• Develop music and art enrichment activities at QSAC Day Habilitation Centers.
• Travel to all 11 Day Habilitation Centers.
• Provide music programs to individuals and art instruction.
• Train QSAC school staff to provide ongoing music & art enrichment activities to the individuals at the program.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality, attendance, and flexibility, while working cooperatively with program management and other employees.
• Maintain records and documentation.
• Develop and maintain a daily schedule, which includes sites, individuals/classrooms and other activities/duties.
