About The Position

Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to the mission of enabling organizations to proactively find, fix and verify exploitable attack vectors before criminals exploit them. Our flagship product, the NodeZeroTM platform, delivers production-safe autonomous pentests and other key assessment operations that scale across the largest internal, external, cloud, and hybrid cloud environments. NodeZero has been adopted by organizations of all sizes, from small educational institutions to government agencies and Global 100 enterprises. It is used by IT Ops/SecOps teams, consulting pentesters, and MSSPs and MSPs. We are a fusion of former U.S. Special Operations cyber operators, startup engineers & operators, and formerly frustrated cybersecurity practitioners. We're committed to helping solve our common security problems: ineffective security tools and false positives, resulting in alert fatigue, blind spots, "checkbox” security culture, cybersecurity skills shortage, and the long lead time and expense of hiring outside consultants. As a remote first company, we require minimum 25Mbps consumer grade broadband connection.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter, ideally in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing candidates in competitive markets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both candidates and hiring teams.
  • High social aptitude and relationship-building ability — you know how to build trust quickly and maintain strong candidate pipelines.
  • Solid technical acumen, with the ability to understand technical roles, assess candidate qualifications, and have credible conversations with engineers.
  • Experience owning full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing candidates.
  • Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and drive processes forward in an evolving environment.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on improving recruiting processes, efficiency, and candidate experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Coursework or degree in business, human resources, psychology, information technology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, research, operations, customer service, information technology, administration, or other relevant roles.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting across key roles (Engineering, Product, and Design) with a strong focus on building high-quality, diverse pipelines in a competitive market.
  • Drive recruiting strategy end-to-end — from sourcing and outreach to process design, candidate experience, and closing.
  • Develop creative strategies to identify and engage top cyber and non-cyber talent.
  • Continuously evaluate and rebuild recruiting processes that are no longer serving the business.
  • Help shape how we recruit as a company, bringing ideas, data, and creativity to improve our processes and outcomes.
