About The Position

The Staff Software Engineer explores existing software products and solutions to address business and technical needs, assesses gaps between customer and business expectations and available solutions, classifies requirements, and identifies and communicates risks with recommended corrective steps. The role contributes to user stories, software design, coding, configuration, scripting, telemetry, code reviews, testing, maintenance, and ongoing performance and availability analysis for software components and applications. The engineer helps design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant software and services; translates high-level designs into detailed module designs; selects appropriate frameworks and environments; automates routine processes across CI/CD and testing; and develops test strategies and cases from customer requirements. The position also tracks and analyzes defects, conducts regression testing, troubleshoots bottlenecks, evaluates change requests, performs maintenance engineering, and supports test execution across the product.
