About The Position
As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable platform capabilities, driving the full software development lifecycle with a focus on cloud-native architecture and AI/ML integration. This role requires technical leadership in system design, mentorship, and collaboration across teams to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions. Requirements
- Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
- Strong experience in software development lifecycle management, encompassing coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in API design, software prototyping, and applying software design patterns for secure, modular, and maintainable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI/ML components using languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, and C++.
- Skilled in mentoring engineers and leading technical decisions to promote engineering excellence and continuous development.
- Data-driven problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, customer-centric platform capabilities.
- Effective collaboration and communication across technical and business stakeholders to drive project success.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
- Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities
- Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities.
- Drive full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
- Lead system design reviews to validate quality and alignment with architectural standards.
- Build AI-driven applications integrating ML components and intelligent automation features.
- Mentor engineers, promote technical growth, and influence architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate user needs into actionable technical requirements.
- Utilize data-driven practices to define success metrics and optimize development processes.
- Foster continuous improvement through innovation, knowledge sharing, and adherence to engineering excellence.
