As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of scalable platform capabilities, driving the full software development lifecycle with a focus on cloud-native architecture and AI/ML integration. This role requires technical leadership in system design, mentorship, and collaboration across teams to ensure high-quality, maintainable solutions. You will engage with stakeholders to translate complex problems into actionable requirements, promote engineering excellence, and continuously improve processes and tools. Requirements

  • Proven expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation to ensure scalable and resilient systems.
  • Strong experience in software development lifecycle management, encompassing coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in API design, software prototyping, and applying software design patterns for secure, modular, and maintainable solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI/ML components using languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, and C++.
  • Skilled in mentoring engineers and leading technical decisions to promote engineering excellence and continuous development.
  • Data-driven problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, customer-centric platform capabilities.
  • Effective collaboration and communication across technical and business stakeholders to drive project success.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities.
  • Drive full software development lifecycle activities such as coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure scalable, resilient, and agile systems.
  • Lead system design reviews to validate quality and alignment with architectural standards.
  • Build AI-driven applications integrating ML components and intelligent automation features.
  • Mentor engineers, promote technical growth, and influence architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate user needs into actionable technical requirements.
  • Utilize data-driven practices to define success metrics and optimize development processes.
  • Foster continuous improvement through innovation, knowledge sharing, and adherence to engineering excellence.
