The role contributes to creating, deploying, and supporting production applications while helping engineers develop their technical and leadership skills. Responsibilities also include assisting with product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning, and production monitoring. Staff Software Engineers contribute reusable foundational code, architectural diagrams, and other product-related documentation, and help build the skills of more junior engineers.
