About The Position

The Napa County Health and Human Services Agency’s Behavioral Health Division is seeking a Staff Services Analyst I or II for its Administration team. The position supports analytical and administrative functions, including data collection and analysis, state reporting, research, process improvement, and development of reports and dashboards. The analyst works with internal teams and external partners to meet reporting requirements, improve data accuracy, evaluate processes, and identify opportunities to increase efficiency through technology and automation. The Staff Services Analyst I is the entry level of the series and may work under general supervision or direction. The role performs analytical tasks of increasing difficulty and routine administrative-services analysis; assignments may grow in complexity as the employee develops experience and skills. The Staff Services Analyst II is the journey level, works under direction, and performs more difficult, responsible, varied, and complex analyst functions. At either level, the incumbent may serve as a resource to staff and other groups; the Analyst II may also administratively oversee programs, projects, assignments, or specialized activities of lower-level staff. The recruitment will fill one full-time vacancy. The resulting eligibility list may also be used for current and future full-time, part-time, limited-term, and extra-help vacancies for up to one year. The position includes 32 hours of Winter Time Off under the Memorandum of Understanding. Napa County employees are Disaster Service Workers and may be asked to provide critical services during emergencies.
