About The Position

Napa County is seeking a Behavioral Health Staff Services Analyst I/II to join the Napa County Health and Human Services Agency, Behavioral Health Division. This position will support a wide range of assignments, including data collection and analysis, independent research, report preparation, credentialing activities, process improvement initiatives, development of division policies and procedures, and assistance with contract administration. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable. This position will also collaborate with contracted providers to support accurate data collection, reporting, analysis, and invoicing processes. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with strong analytical, organizational, research, and communication skills. The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with internal and external partners is also desired. This recruitment is for one full-time vacancy, and the resulting eligibility list may be used for future full-time, part-time, limited term, and extra help vacancies for up to one year. The position will be filled at either the Staff Services Analyst I or II level, depending on candidate qualifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework preferably in business administration, public administration, systems analysis, accounting, or related field (Staff Services Analyst I)
  • One year of experience performing administrative management, personnel, fiscal, budgetary, staff development, or data processing analysis work, including the preparation of recommendations and reports, or one year of experience as a Staff Services Analyst I (Staff Services Analyst II)
  • Equivalent to graduation from college with major course work in business administration, public administration, systems analysis, accounting, or related field (Staff Services Analyst II)
  • Possession of a valid California Driver's License
  • Maintain any required license, certification, or registration in good standing throughout employment
