About The Position
A Series A industrial robotics company (around 90 people) delivering AI-powered robots-as-a-service. Its platform deploys into customer facilities with minimal friction, at a fraction of the cost of traditional automation. The role: Build the software that powers AI-driven robots in live production environments. This is a hands-on, cross-stack role on the R&D team, from microcontroller firmware to cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of software engineering in robotics, automation or embedded systems
- Strong Python
- Experience with C/C++, ROS, Docker, Kubernetes and systemd
- Able to work on-site 5 days a week in the Boston area
Nice To Haves
- TypeScript/React is a plus
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate real-time robot code, motion planning optimisation and ML pipelines
- Build data-labelling frontends, perception systems and compilers for robot intelligence
- Work up and down the stack on the most pressing technical problems
- Deploy into customer facilities so code translates into real robot performance
