About The Position

This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. The nurse is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The role requires a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization. Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) credential from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• State driver's license.
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
• Field of study: Nursing.
• Years of experience: 0.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments as applicable to the population or individual.
• Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
• Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriate intervals.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to revise the plan of care based on evaluative data.
• Participate in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Carry out operational responsibilities.
• Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency when performing job duties.
