About The Position

This position provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the health-illness continuum in diverse health care settings, collaborating with the health care team. The nurse is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.

The role includes assessing patient health status, planning and documenting nursing interventions, evaluating patient responses and outcomes, and revising care plans with the multidisciplinary team. It also includes participating in process improvement activities focused on clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. As part of a High Reliability Organization, the position requires attention to safety, quality, and efficiency. The job profile is an overview of responsibilities and may change.

Requirements

• Associate's degree required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) credential from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
• State driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessments as appropriate to the patient population and individual.
• Document planned nursing interventions based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems to achieve outcomes appropriate to patient needs.
• Evaluate and document responses to nursing interventions and achievement of outcomes at appropriate intervals.
• Revise the plan of care with the multidisciplinary team based on evaluative data.
• Participate in process improvement activities to achieve targeted measures of clinical quality, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Focus on safety, quality, and efficiency while performing job duties.
