About The Position

The Staff RN/Periop assesses, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN applies knowledge of nursing principles, theories, current methods, and techniques. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their families or significant others, professional peers, and other members of the healthcare team to individualize patient care. The RN directs nursing support staff in providing patient care according to nursing practice standards and administrative and departmental policies and procedures. Specialty-area professional education, training, or additional certifications may be required. The RN adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• PA Registered Nurse License required.
• Basic Life Support required.
• Multi State Compact RN License required, or [the posting's text ends after 'Or'].
• Professional education, training, or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of experience in the area of clinical specialty preferred.
