About The Position
Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health Hospital (RRBH) is a 58-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adults from 18 years of age through the senior years. RRBH includes a general adult psychiatric division and a specialized geriatric division for dementia and Alzheimer's care. Haven at Ramapo Ridge provides inpatient trauma-informed care for women only. As an RN or LPN, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, developing individualized treatment plans for patients. The role involves participating in daily therapeutic group offerings, medication therapies, individual therapy, and psychoeducation groups. There are opportunities to act as nurse preceptors, charge nurses, and mentors for students. The hospital is located on 78 acres and offers a tranquil work environment with newly renovated, state-of-the-art behavioral health care settings.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- New Associate Graduate Nurses are welcome to apply. We will train new graduates!
- Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the team in developing individualized treatment plans that meet the patient where they are and ensure the plan is designed to meet the patient’s goals.
- Act as nurse preceptors, charge nurses, and mentors for students.
- Demonstrate an understanding of, and embrace, the mission statement of Christian Health.
