About The Position

Ramapo Ridge Behavioral Health Hospital (RRBH) is a 58-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adults from 18 years of age through the senior years. It includes a general adult psychiatric division and a specialized geriatric division for dementia and Alzheimer's care. Haven at Ramapo Ridge provides inpatient trauma-informed care for women. The role involves working as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team, developing individualized treatment plans, and participating in various therapeutic group offerings. Nurses also have opportunities to act as preceptors, charge nurses, and mentors. The position offers competitive wages, differentials, and a supportive work environment.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance.

Responsibilities

Lead the team in developing individualized treatment plans that meet the patient where they are and ensure the plan is designed to meet the patient’s goals.
Act as nurse preceptors, charge nurses, and mentors for students rotating through RRBH.
Participate in daily therapeutic group offerings, medication therapies, individual therapy, psychoeducation groups, art and music therapy, movement groups, and family support.
