About The Position
Northside Hospital Cherokee is hiring Staff RNs and inviting qualified applicants to an in-person recruiting event. Applicants should apply to RSVP; a recruiter will provide the event location and an interview time slot if qualified. The event is invite-only, and attendees should bring an updated resume. The Registered Professional Nurse independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The posting lists day, mid, and night work hours. Day and night shifts are described as 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m., respectively.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia in good standing and without limitations.
- Hold American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
- Additional life support credential (such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP) or other clinical specialty certification relevant to specific units.
- Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
- Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
