About The Position
The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The position is outpatient, with work hours of 0800–1630.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Georgia RN license in good standing without limitations.
- American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
- Additional life support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
- Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan professional nursing care for patients.
- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
