About The Position
Northside Hospital Cherokee is seeking Registered Professional Nurses for Staff RN positions. The role independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders, established guidelines, and the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The posting invites ER nurses to apply for an in-person recruiting event on Friday, November 13th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Attendance is by invitation only; the recruiter will provide the location and interview time slot to qualified applicants. Applicants should bring an updated resume. Shifts listed for Forsyth include day (7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.) and night (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.); work hours are also described as days, mids, and nights.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia, in good standing and without limitations.
- Certified in the American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
- Additional life support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
- Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.
Responsibilities
- Independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
- Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
