About The Position

ProHealth Care is seeking a Staff Radiation Therapist to join their Radiation Oncology team. This role involves delivering state-of-the-art radiation treatments in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. The therapist will deliver safe and accurate radiation treatments as prescribed by physicians, providing patients with education, reassurance, and compassionate care. The team utilizes advanced treatment technology, including TrueBeam, VitalBeam, and IX machines, with physics review for quality and safety. Therapists typically see 24 to 32 patients per day, with treatments scheduled at approximately 15-minute intervals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Radiation Therapy, Radiography or related field, or Associate's Degree with equivalent experience.
If Bachelor's Degree: ARRT Registration required.
If Associate's Degree: Radiologic Tech (WI License) and Radiation Therapy Certification required.
Ability to work at multiple sites with flexibility in scheduling as needed.
Varian experience; true beam or vital beam experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Aria EMR (Varian product) highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Deliver safe and accurate radiation treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Provide patients with education, reassurance, and compassionate care.
Assist in localizing tumors.
Participate in treatment planning.
Deliver high doses of ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist.
Function as a primary caregiver to patients and provide a link to other health care providers as needed.
