About The Position

Qualcomm is seeking a Staff Project Manager to join our Integration Management Office (IMO) and lead large‑scale, cross‑functional M&A integrations. This is a senior‑level role with broad visibility and ownership, responsible for translating deal strategy into executable integration plans that protect business continuity and maximize deal value. You will work closely with executive sponsors, Corporate Development, functional leaders, and acquired company leadership to deliver measurable outcomes across complex and time‑sensitive transactions. This role is designed for experienced M&A integration leaders who operate comfortably at both the strategic and execution levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of project management or related work experience.
  • Associate's degree and 9+ years of project management or related work experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 11+ years of project management or related work experience.
  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures through an Integration Management Office (IMO) or equivalent M&A integration function
  • Not all experience must be IMO‑focused, but candidates must have led or directly supported M&A diligence, Day 1 readiness, and/or post‑close integration execution

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • 8 to 12+ years of M&A integration‑based program or consulting experience
  • Big 5 consulting or Fortune 100 M&A integration experience
  • Experience in technology, semiconductors, or global matrixed organizations
  • Pre‑close planning and Day 1 readiness ownership
  • Familiarity with M&A lifecycle and integration platforms

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end integration planning and execution across multiple concurrent workstreams
  • Translate deal rationale, synergies, and value drivers into actionable integration strategies
  • Align scope, priorities, KPIs, and success metrics with executive sponsors and Corporate Development
  • Define Day 1 operating models and post‑close integration phases
  • Establish and manage integration governance, decision frameworks, and operating cadence
  • Drive milestone execution across cross‑functional teams
  • Build and maintain integration plans, dashboards, and leadership reporting
  • Identify risks early and drive structured issue resolution
  • Partner with Communications, HR, IT, Finance, Legal, and functional leaders on change strategies
  • Serve as a primary leadership contact for acquired companies
  • Lead integration forums, readiness sessions, and executive updates
  • Support synergy tracking and integration budget oversight
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting and managing integration costs
  • Evolve IMO best practices, frameworks, and playbooks
  • Modernize IMO tools and processes using industry best practices, including AI‑enabled approaches
  • Mentor junior project managers and workstream leads
  • Capture post‑mortem learnings and drive adoption across future integrations
