About The Position

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) is seeking a Staff Program Manager to lead various game publisher/partner initiatives. This role is responsible for driving strategic programs from concept through delivery, aligning business priorities with execution and measurable outcomes on a global scale. The ideal candidate will possess strong business judgment, structured problem-solving skills, and the ability to bring clarity, alignment, and results in complex environments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading complex programs in platform, product, business systems, or related environments from concept through delivery.
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to connect program execution to business goals, customer outcomes, and operational priorities.
  • Ability to work across a range of stakeholders, surfacing risks, clarifying trade-offs, and driving alignment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to prioritize effectively, develop execution plans, identify gaps and risks, and put mitigation and communication plans in place.
  • Excellent critical thinking and systems thinking skills to understand how teams, dependencies, and decisions fit together and solve complex problems effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear recommendations and decisions for executive-level audiences.
  • Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bring clarity and calm to ambiguous, high-pressure situations.
  • Experience using dashboards, reporting tools, and delivery metrics to improve visibility, manage risk, and support decision-making.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to the continued growth of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive program strategy, decision-making, and execution planning for large, high-impact initiatives across all phases of planning and delivery.
  • Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders to align objectives, clarify trade-offs, and create shared accountability for successful outcomes.
  • Proactively identify critical risks, dependencies, and decision points, and drive them to closure while balancing business priorities, operational needs, and delivery constraints.
  • Influence at all levels and build strong partnerships across organizations to deliver the best outcome for complex programs with competing priorities.
  • Use business context, data, and delivery signals to guide prioritization, frame trade-offs, and connect program execution to measurable value.
  • Improve delivery effectiveness by strengthening program mechanisms, reporting, and operating rhythms to increase predictability, transparency, and decision quality.
  • Communicate program status, risks, recommendations, and strategic implications clearly across organizational boundaries, including senior leadership.
