About The Position

Supermicro is seeking a passionate, energetic Hardware Product Management Director who can drive the development and lifecycle management of industry-leading AI/HPC/Enterprise server products. This role is perfect for a technology leader with a passion for AI, machine learning, high-performance computing (HPC), GPU-accelerated workloads and Enterprise: someone who excels at bridging technology, business strategy, and customer success. In addition to developing new top-of-the-line systems (CPU and GPU based), you are expected to collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales departments to promote products and interact with customers directly to sell these products. We are looking for candidates with strong technical and communication skills including research into vertical market solutions. You will be driving customer adoption of your products.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experiences
8-15 years of hands-on experience on system/server architecture

Responsibilities

Drive product management and development cycles, from concept through launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product Managers at Supermicro to develop a strategic roadmap to make Supermicro system products a market leading offering for new workloads and innovative solutions.
Aggressively evangelize and position AI compute servers and AI infrastructure, with the goal of top-line growth in relevant vertical market segments and geographical regions.
Develop go-to-market strategies, including pricing, packaging, and messaging.
Support sales enablement with product training, collateral and technical documentation.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer briefings as a subject matter expert.
Leverage strong technical background to create technical product requirements for AI factories/cloud/data center infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements, industry trends and business requirements.
Work closely with product development, marketing, service, and sales teams, to influence the product and service portfolios for competitive advantage and incremental value to our customers.
Engage with customers at various levels including senior executives, engineering, and product marketing to convey our capabilities and vision, and understand their challenges and requirements.
Manage critical issues and provide solutions.
