About The Position

The Staff Product Manager leads strategy and execution for complex products, driving end-to-end outcomes from discovery through value realization. This role requires strong stakeholder leadership and deep customer and technical insight to define product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategies. The position involves collaborating cross-functionally to prioritize initiatives based on data-driven analysis and emerging technologies. The Staff Product Manager mentors peers, influences technical direction, and ensures alignment with broader business objectives while continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve product performance and customer experience. This team drives the development of new verticals within Walmart’s extensive ecommerce platform. It leads product strategy and roadmap execution across multiple related products by leveraging data-driven insights and emerging technologies. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the team addresses complex customer challenges and fosters innovation. Through comprehensive product lifecycle management and clear objective setting, it delivers scalable, impactful solutions. Team members contribute to shaping advanced product strategies and enhancing product management practices, supporting continuous improvement and long-term value creation across the organization.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading product strategy and managing roadmaps for complex or multiple related products.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and align priorities.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision making, including advanced analytics and experimentation to validate product assumptions.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs through design thinking, journey mapping, and operational data analysis.
  • Ability to define clear product vision, success metrics, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and AI-powered product opportunities.
  • Demonstrated capability to mentor and elevate product management discipline within teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in product management.
  • 9 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 6 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategy and execution for complex products, owning end-to-end outcomes from discovery through value realization.
  • Build deep customer and business understanding using data analysis, journey mapping, and feedback synthesis to prioritize product initiatives.
  • Define and communicate multi-quarter product vision, strategy, and roadmaps aligned with business goals and market trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Business partners to manage risks, dependencies, and delivery priorities.
  • Utilize data-driven decision making and experimentation to validate assumptions and optimize product performance.
  • Mentor product managers on discovery rigor, roadmap development, and launch readiness.
  • Influence technical direction and identify innovation opportunities to enhance product capabilities.
