About the position
The Staff Product Manager at Method is responsible for leading cross-functional teams in driving innovative digital solutions that meet user needs and drive business value for clients. They serve as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor to C-suite/CXO-level clients, influencing and delivering the vision and business case of solutions. Additionally, they inspire and lead a talented team of designers, developers, QA, and other product strategists, manage client communications and day-to-day interactions, and provide mentorship and coaching to team members. The Staff Product Manager plays a crucial role in driving client value throughout the product lifecycle and ensuring the delivery of industry-leading approaches and methods.
Responsibilities
- Drive client value through all aspects of the product lifecycle
- Lead the project team to deliver solutions that meet business requirements and delight users
- Consult with clients to understand and convey strategic business objectives
- Influence stakeholders and guide conversations to desired outcomes
- Evaluate end-users' needs through interviews and ethnography
- Translate business and user needs into user flows, feature maps, user stories, etc.
- Design, coordinate, and facilitate workshops including design thinking, empathy building, and ideation
- Support the creation of omni-channel Journey Maps, Experience Maps, and Service Blueprints
- Demonstrate competency in all core product capabilities with internal teams and clients
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and research
- Conduct customer/user research and testing
- Facilitate stakeholder/user workshops
- Conduct market landscape and build vs buy analysis
- Define flows, features, and requirements
- Create product roadmaps and prioritize features
- Develop deployment, go-to-market, and change management strategies
- Collaborate with the team as a coach and mentor, giving constructive feedback and resolving conflict
- Partner with the Business Development team to craft proposal responses and contribute to scoping work
- Collaborate with developers to determine the feasibility of requirements and prioritize recommendations
- Partner with designers and developers to create testable concepts to validate hypotheses and optimize experiences
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant consulting, digital agency, or industry experience in user experience, digital strategy, or product management
- Understanding and knowledge of UX/UI best practices
- Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Ability to drive client value through all aspects of the product lifecycle
- Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen
- Ability to break down complex problems and identify project needs
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Proficiency in stakeholder interviews and research
- Experience in customer/user research and testing
