Staff Product Designer
About The Position
As a Staff Product Designer at StackAdapt, you’ll lead design projects of significant scope, complexity, and impact—helping teams across the organization connect data, automation, and human insight into experiences that empower marketers to drive business growth. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to frame problem spaces, define strategic paths forward, and refine details before launch. Your work will bring clarity and cohesion to complex systems while elevating design standards across the product. StackAdapt’s customers trust us to deliver powerful, intelligent, and automated tools that make their work simpler and more effective. StackAdapt is a Remote-First company, and we are open to candidates located anywhere in Canada or US for this position.
Requirements
- Depth of experience designing complex products, ideally within data-driven, enterprise, or workflow-rich environments.
- Strong mastery of interaction design, prototyping, and information architecture, with the ability to visualize and communicate abstract concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to connect design decisions to measurable business and user outcomes.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally across technical, commercial, and operational teams to align around shared goals.
- A balance of craft excellence and strategic thinking—able to simplify the complex and focus teams on what matters most.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A mindset grounded in StackAdapt’s values: caring and taking action, raising the bar, walking in the customer’s shoes, and winning together.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, evolving environments where ambiguity is an opportunity for creativity and clarity.
Responsibilities
- Lead design for complex, multi-team initiatives, ensuring clarity from problem framing through launch.
- Collaborate deeply with Product, Engineering, Research, Revenue, Client Services, and Leadership to align design direction with business outcomes and customer value.
- Translate data-rich, technical systems into intuitive and scalable experiences that enable confident, efficient decision-making.
- Build frameworks, patterns, and processes that improve product quality and consistency across teams and surfaces.
- Drive design vision and strategy that balances usability, automation, and performance—helping teams move faster and design smarter.
- Mentor and guide designers, sharing context, feedback, and systems thinking to strengthen collective impact.
- Contribute to StackAdapt’s evolving design practices, ensuring our products, processes, and experiences scale with quality and intent.
