About The Position

As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you play a critical role in delivering the company’s purpose and providing compassionate care to patients. You support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and help manage, oversee, and operate all aspects of the pharmacy, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, customer service, personnel and inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management. You help keep customers and patients healthy by adopting and managing patient care programs. You also motivate and develop pharmacy support staff, identify business opportunities and solutions, lead implementation of goals, adapt to a changing community healthcare setting, collaborate to improve outcomes, foster a caring and energetic team culture, and apply your knowledge to support healthy outcomes and distinguish CVS from competitors.

Requirements

Active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
Immunization certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.

Responsibilities
