About The Position

The Staff Pharmacist supports the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and helps manage, oversee, and operate all aspects of the pharmacy. Responsibilities span patient safety, professional pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel and inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.

The role helps keep customers and patients healthy through the adoption and management of patient care programs. The Staff Pharmacist leads with empathy and compassion, develops pharmacy support staff, identifies and implements solutions to improve growth and performance, adapts to change in a community healthcare setting, collaborates to deliver better outcomes, builds team alignment and pride, and applies knowledge to support healthy outcomes and distinguish CVS from competitors.

Requirements

• Active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
• Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
• No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
