Position Summary: CVS Rx Services, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Cape Coral, FL: Staff Pharmacists to Dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use.
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (or foreign equivalent) and Florida Pharmacy License or ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (or foreign equivalent) and Florida Pharmacy License or ability to obtain one.
Responsibilities
- compound and dispense medications issued by authorized medical practitioners
- address clinical effects of drugs, providing counseling, and assisting patients in managing medical conditions
- communicate with customers and patients regarding their confidential health and drug information
- adopt and manage patient care programs
- lead with heart by displaying empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, caregivers and colleagues on your team
- motivate, inspire and develop your pharmacy support staff by balancing assignments that maximize colleagues strengths, address development opportunities and decrease knowledge gaps
- identify critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy
- implement solutions by leading team to achieve specified goals
- adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting
- seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others and deliver better outcomes
- align others around purpose to gain support and commitment
