Position Summary: CVS Rx Services, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Temple, TX: Staff Pharmacist Dispense drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use. Duties include: compound and dispense medications issued by authorized medical practitioners; address clinical effects of drugs, providing counseling, and assisting patients in managing medical conditions; communicate with customers and patients regarding their confidential health and drug information; adopt and manage patient care programs; lead with heart by displaying empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, caregivers and colleagues on your team; motivate, inspire and develop your pharmacy support staff by balancing assignments that maximize colleagues strengths, address development opportunities and decrease knowledge gaps; identify critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in your pharmacy; implement solutions by leading team to achieve specified goals; adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting; seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others and deliver better outcomes; align others around purpose to gain support and commitment; and facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm and pride. Position may require work at additional pharmacy store locations in McLennan County, TX; Bell County, TX; and/or other surrounding counties.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (or foreign equivalent) and Texas Pharmacy License or ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (or foreign equivalent) and Texas Pharmacy License or ability to obtain one.
