Staff Pharmacist $10,000 Sign on Bonus
About The Position
The Staff Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care to customers at Walmart, processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers about healthcare and prescription medication needs, and administering immunizations and other Walmart programs. The role supports patient health and wellness, follows company policies and applicable regulations, and models and guides pharmacy staff in providing customer service. The pharmacy operates in an energetic environment with resources and technology to support its team. The annual salary range is $98,000 to $172,000 for a 40-hour workweek; pay is prorated for other scheduled hours. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is indicated in the job title.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
- Pharmacy license by the job entry date.
- Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program, such as APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or a state pharmacy association-sponsored program.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Ability to foster relationships with customers and partners.
- Adaptability to cater to patient needs and address a variety of medical concerns.
- Enthusiasm for participating in community activities, outreach, and events.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
