About The Position

The Pharmacist is responsible for accurately dispensing medications filled through ExactCare and ensuring that a correct and safe supply is delivered to the public. The role follows company policies and procedures and provides clinical consultations to patients and other healthcare professionals. The position is listed as PRN and Third Shift.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Current pharmacist license in the State of Ohio.
• Prior pharmacist experience.
• Team-oriented approach.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Organizational skills.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-starter who can work with little to no supervision.
• Passion for helping people.

• Closed-door or production pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical accuracy and execution of patient prescriptions.
• Verify hard-copy and digital prescriptions.
• Communicate with healthcare professionals and ensure the doctor call line is answered.
• Supervise and execute incoming and outgoing prescription transfers.
• Perform drug utilization reviews (DUR) to identify patients eligible for medication therapy management (MTM), determine appropriate clinical interventions, and follow up.
• Ensure legal, privacy, and compliance requirements are met.
