About The Position

The Staff Pharmacist supports the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and is accountable for supporting management, oversight, and operation of all aspects of the pharmacy. The role covers patient safety, professional pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel and inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.

The pharmacist helps keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs. The role calls for empathy and compassion, developing and motivating support staff, identifying business opportunities, implementing solutions to improve performance, adapting to change in a dynamic community healthcare setting, collaborating to deliver better outcomes, and contributing to a caring and energetic team culture. The position is full-time, with 40 anticipated weekly hours.

Requirements

• Hold an active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
• Not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Have immunization certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
• Have no pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
