About The Position

Walmart seeks a Staff Pharmacist to provide patient-focused pharmaceutical care in a community pharmacy. The pharmacist processes and accurately dispenses prescriptions, counsels customers about healthcare and medication needs, administers immunizations and other Walmart programs, and supports regulatory and company-policy compliance. The role also includes modeling and guiding pharmacy staff in appropriate customer service. The annual salary range is $98,000 to $172,000 for a 40-hour workweek, with the range prorated for different scheduled hours. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
• Pharmacy license by the job entry date.
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited immunization training program, such as APhA, pharmacy school curriculum, or a state pharmacy association-sponsored program.
• Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
• Ability to foster relationships with customers and partners.
• Adaptability to patient needs and a variety of medical concerns.
• Enthusiasm for participating in community activities, outreach, and events.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders.
• Counsel customers regarding healthcare and prescription medication needs.
• Administer immunizations and other programs developed by Walmart.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches.
