About The Position
As a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Health, you play a critical role in delivering patient care and advancing the company’s purpose. You support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and help manage, oversee, and operate all aspects of the pharmacy, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel and inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow. You also support the adoption and management of patient care programs to help keep customers and patients healthy. The role calls for empathetic, compassionate care for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues. You motivate and develop Pharmacy Support Staff, identify business opportunities and meaningful solutions, and lead the team in implementing solutions and achieving goals. You adapt to changes in a community healthcare setting, collaborate to improve outcomes, build support around shared purpose, contribute to a caring and energetic team culture, and apply your knowledge to promote healthy outcomes and distinguish CVS from competitors.
Requirements
- Active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
- Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
- Must be free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.
Responsibilities
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
- Support management, oversight, and operation of all aspects of the pharmacy, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to help keep customers and patients healthy.

- Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by assigning work that uses colleagues’ strengths and addresses development opportunities and knowledge gaps.

- Lead the team in implementing solutions and achieving specified goals.
