About The Position

TeamHealth has a full-time opportunity for an experienced emergency medicine physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the emergency department at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. The emergency department has 23 beds and sees more than 42,000 visits annually; the hospital has 295 beds. Lake Cumberland is recognized as a high-performing hospital for stroke by U.S. News & World Report and is an Advanced Certified Primary Stroke Center. The facility serves an 11-county region and offers a range of acute and specialized services.

Requirements

• Must be an eligible physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
