About The Position

SC&H’s Contract Compliance Audit Services (CCAS) Practice has an immediate need for a Staff or Senior Consultant based in our Hunt Valley, MD office. This position is hybrid and has an in-office requirement of 2 days per week. The CCAS team completes over 1,000 audits a year for clients including Fortune 500 companies delivering savings and recovery results within 60 days of an audit. Services include enhanced governance, verification of supplier charge accuracy, and contract effectiveness that mitigates risk and improves profitability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other related fields
  • 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Exceptional integrity, values, principles, and work ethic
  • The ability to quickly understand and evaluate complex business processes
  • Verbal communication and business writing skills
  • Analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Comfortable thinking and working independently
  • All candidates must be able to provide their own transportation to and from SC&H offices and client locations where applicable.

Nice To Haves

  • Motivated to obtain certifications for career development (CPA, CIA, CFE, etc.)
  • Previous experience with excel or PowerBI (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Work with the client to understand contract risks and overall objectives of the audit
  • Assist with selection of suppliers to audit
  • Create and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Provide status updates in partnership with team as applicable
  • Complete stakeholder interviews
  • Request and review documentation from suppliers for compliance
  • Collect feedback on non-compliance from suppliers
  • Create supplier audit reports under the guidance of management
  • Deliver supplier audit reports that present the facts to help the client make informed business decisions based on the findings
  • Assist with supplier negotiations to obtain refunds, provide contract recommendations, process improvements, and benchmarking in partnership with management
