About The Position

ObservePoint is seeking a Senior or Staff Product Manager to join their technically-savvy product team. This role involves working closely with engineering, design, and customer success to enhance the world's best website scanning platform. The platform is used by major brands, including half of the Fortune 100, for privacy compliance, analytics coverage, accessibility validation, and performance monitoring. The company utilizes AI tools to automate tasks, build proofs of concept, and create documentation. This hiring is driven by the company's success and growth, with a focus on expanding the platform into new areas and incorporating AI-powered features. The role requires a product manager to help manage these enhancements, which are significant in scope and will be supported by additional engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management with B2B SaaS products
  • Knowledge of technical web concepts (cookies, tags, sitemaps, web vitals, redirects)
  • AI productization experience
  • Experience with PLG (Product-Led Growth)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in web privacy and compliance (website consent management, GDPR, CCPA)
  • Experience in web analytics governance (implementing website analytics, tag management, cookie governance)
  • Familiarity with tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Segment, Tealium, or OneTrust
  • Understanding of WCAG standards and how to design accessible web applications
  • Experience with VPAT or Section 508 audit for a B2B SaaS product
  • Familiarity with how website performance is measured and improved
  • Understanding of SEO/AEO for building product features that help customers optimize their websites
  • Experience with tools for automated front-end testing like Playwright, including no-code/low-code e2e testing tools

Responsibilities

  • Own a significant area of the product end-to-end, from discovery and requirements through launch and iteration.
  • Write great product specifications that give engineers and designers what they need to build with confidence.
  • Write great public-facing documentation and create inspiring explainer videos about our products.
  • Conduct customer interviews, collect product feedback, and analyze product usage metrics to deeply understand our customers’ jobs to be done.
  • Collaborate early and often with engineering, discussing technical tradeoffs to make the best product decisions.
  • Run a company-wide go-to-market strategy for the products you launch, ensuring adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Help marketing, sales, and customer success understand product changes before they ship.
  • Design generalizable solutions for customer problems, solving not only today’s customer problems, but an entire universe of problems that we can’t foresee.
  • Ensure customers can use designs without handholding from humans at ObservePoint, including great feature discovery and proactive UX.
  • Build products that sell themselves, guiding users through onboarding, expansion, and renewal.
  • Make smart prioritization decisions on the product roadmap to maximize business results, deciding when to build new features, improve existing features, or fix bugs.
  • Become a domain expert in topics like web privacy regulations, analytics tag governance, core web vitals, and accessibility standards.
