About The Position

The Staff Nurse provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. As the primary caregiver, the nurse provides direct patient care and collaborates with care team members, physicians, patients, and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making, as well as decision-making in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

This is a part-time float-pool role serving Chillicothe, Pike, Fayette, and Greenfield. The schedule is two 12.5-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every third weekend required. Patient ratios are 1:3–4 in PCU and 1:5–6 in Med Surg. The hourly rate is based on years of nursing experience and education.
