RN /LPN- Float Pool (Nights) PT
About The Position
The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care by applying nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patients’ plans of care. As the primary caregiver, the nurse provides direct patient care and collaborates with other care team members, physicians, and patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes. The role involves access to confidential patient information and independent decision-making as well as decision-making in collaboration with others. The Staff Nurse works under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing. This float-pool position serves locations in Chillicothe, Pike, Fayette, and Greenfield. It is part-time, with two night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, and requires every third weekend. Patient ratios are 1:3–4 in PCU and 1:5–6 in Med Surg. Hourly pay is based on nursing experience and education.
