About The Position

Aspire Indiana Health is hiring a full-time Staff Nurse to provide office- and community-based nursing services as part of a multidisciplinary, team-oriented organization. The role requires strong knowledge of nursing requirements for integrated care, including the physical and behavioral health needs of Aspire clients, and the ability to coordinate nursing care with clients and other team members. Safety awareness and teaching skills are important. Knowledge and experience related to DSM, crisis and emergency interventions, and infection control are needed.

The position is primarily daytime, Monday through Friday, and requires some local travel. A $2,000 hiring bonus is offered. Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services, and programs addressing social determinants of health, including housing and employment. Its health centers serve people of all ages across five Central Indiana counties.

Requirements

• Must be recognized as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Indiana.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an associate degree from an accredited two-year nursing program required.
• Ability to empathize with and be compassionate toward client needs.
• Ability to respond appropriately and effectively in crisis situations, using good judgment and following Aspire protocols.
• Knowledge and experience in DSM, crisis and emergency interventions, and infection control.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of supervised experience in a mental health or psychiatric setting is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
