About The Position
QSL Management is hiring a part-time Staff Nurse for The Blake at Biloxi. The nurse provides resident care in an assisted-living setting, administers treatment and medication within the scope of applicable state and board regulations, and supports residents’ wellness. The role includes assisting with memory and performance improvement programs, coordinating work with personal assistants while serving as charge nurse under the Wellness Leadership team, and completing assignments independently and collaboratively. The position requires flexibility, clear documentation, effective task prioritization, and a caring, service-oriented approach.
Requirements
- Current state-issued Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current CPR certification.
- A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
- Flexibility and readiness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Assisted-living or long-term-care experience.
- Current First Aid certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders and within applicable board and state regulations for assisted living.
- Provide high-quality care and service to residents while remaining flexible and adapting to change.
- Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
- Work independently with minimal direct supervision and collaboratively with a team to make decisions, organize and prioritize tasks, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
- Serve as charge nurse for personal assistants on shift under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team.
