Staff Nurse - PT- 2pm - 10pm
About The Position
QSL Management is seeking a Staff Nurse for The Barclay at Sarasota. The company provides resort-style senior living and seeks team members who serve older adults with compassion, respect, integrity, and a commitment to safety and quality care. The Staff Nurse provides medical treatment and administers medication according to physician orders and applicable state regulations for assisted living. The nurse also supports residents' memory and performance improvement programs and serves as the charge nurse for personal assistants on shift under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team. The position is part-time, with a listed shift of 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and pays $32.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Current state-issued Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Must have a caring heart and be willing to serve others.
- Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Assisted living or long-term care experience preferred.
- Current First Aid certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders and applicable board and state regulations for assisted living.
- Provide high-quality care and service to residents while remaining flexible and adapting to change.
- Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
- Work independently with minimal direct supervision and collaboratively with a team to make decisions, organize and prioritize tasks, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
- Serve as charge nurse for personal assistants on shift under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team.
