Requirements

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
LPN license and IV Certification active in the state of Missouri
Nursing License active in the state of Missouri
BLS must be obtained within 90 days
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates effective knowledge of scope of practice
Exhibits valuable time management skills
Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment

Nice To Haves

Previous nursing experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Demonstrate effective leadership abilities

Responsibilities

Perform administrative duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry in medical records.
Measure and record vital signs, collect demographics and medical information, including review of medication list.
Prepare patients for examination, clean rooms and equipment, and stock supplies.
Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
Perform specific competencies as directed by the department.
Assess patient health problems and needs.
Develop and implement nursing care plans.
Maintain medical records.
Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
