This role involves both administrative and clinical duties, including patient assessment, care plan implementation, medication administration, and maintaining medical records. The nurse will also be responsible for patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
LPN license and IV Certification active in the state of Missouri
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates effective knowledge of scope of practice
Exhibits valuable time management skills
Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
Nursing License active in the state of Missouri
BLS must be obtained within 90 days

Nice To Haves

Previous nursing experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Demonstrate effective leadership abilities

Responsibilities

Performs administrative duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry in medical records.
Measures and records vital signs.
Collects demographics and medical information, including review of medication list.
Prepares patients for examination.
Cleans rooms and equipment and stocks supplies.
Administers medications as ordered by the physician.
Performs specific competencies as directed by the department.
Assesses patient health problems and needs.
Develops and implements nursing care plans.
Maintains medical records.
Administers nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
Advises patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provides case management.
